You are left with a crater where the plant grew. They grow tall with humungous leaves and massive blooms. Each sunflower is actually thousands of tiny flowers, all maturing into seeds. They don’t apologize for the space they take. For all the beauty and bounty they give, they are entitled to it, just as we are. Sunflower do not apologize for taking up space.
