Who remembers the Ice Cream Man?
Every kid on the street could hear that bell from 2 streets over. As soon as you could detect that promising ring you'd high tail it home to see if Mum would say yes and hand over the change in time for you catch him before he got too far.
Here in Nova Scotia we have an iconic ice cream flavour that is a weird combination of banana, grape and bubblegum. Its yellow, purple and blue ripples come together to create Moon Mist. Isn’t that the perfect name for an ice cream flavour? It is quintessential Nova Scotia.
Of course, Nova Scotia mermaids only eat Moon Mist ice cream. Meet Selene! (She has a sister named Vespera!)
