Back in March 2025 when Donald decided to start bullying Canada, the country united behind the Elbows Up! rallying cry which originates from hockey legend Gordie Howe ("Mr. Elbows"…you know, that guy we named the bridge after?) In retaliation to ridiculous tariffs, Canadian provinces took American liquor off the shelves. And Donald called us “Nasty” for doing so. I have created a piece of art to celebrate our nastiness. My “Nasty Canadian Woman” is drinking from a bottle of Canadian Club whisky while raising her elbows…and a middle finger…to the U.S. administration. Lots of maple leaves hand printed onto collage paper adorn this very Canadian patriotic piece.
